Lola Infante, CAEM’s Research Fellow, was
born in Spain. She holds a B.A. in economics and finance from the Institut
d’Etudes Politiques (IEP) in Paris and a master’s degree in international
economics and finance from the Universite de Paris. Before coming to the
United States in 1997, she headed the Marketing and Research Department of
a loss-adjustment firm in Paris. In 1999, she obtained a master’s degree
from the Department of Energy, Environment, Science, and Technology at
Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
She is currently a Ph.D. candidate at SAIS, where her research focuses on
electricity market restructuring issues
