Edward A. Reid, Jr., is a CAEM Senior Technology Fellow. He is also president of Fire to Ice, Inc., a thermal energy systems consulting company. He has 35 years of experience in the natural gas industry in research, market development, and marketing. He retired from the Columbia Gas Distribution Companies as vice president of marketing in 1996. He served as the first executive director of the American Gas Cooling Center as a loaned executive from Columbia Gas in 1989 and 1990. He rejoined the Center in 1996 and again served as executive director through 1999. Ed holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Manhattan College and an M.B.A. from Capital University.
